The Valkyrie Ensemble receives Social Justice Grant

This spring The Valkyrie Ensemble was one of three groups awarded seed grant funding from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University to perform social justice projects in the Chicago area. The awarding committee was both very excited about the mission and momentum of the Ensemble as well as the professionalism and high quality of the application. This initial funding will allow the company to launch with momentum and kickstart our fundraising campaign for our first season, including an all-female production of Mozart's The Magic Flute!
